A little bit about me!

Que tal mi gente!

My name is Alexandra Rodriguez, but you can call me Alex if you'd like.

I'm a Miami-born Florida native with a deep love for my Hispanic roots. I love all things Colombian and Cuban, but I'm also not afraid to call myself an American.

I received my Bachelors of Science in Communication from Florida International University (Pathers Fight!) I majored in print journalism with a minor in international relations. I started my news career with what was formerly known as the South Florida News Service, now the South Florida Media Network. My career continued up the Florida coast to West Palm Beach where I'm an assignment editor and digital content producer for WPEC-CBS12 News.

You'll usually find me at home playing video games, at the beach, or hitting up breweries and restaurants. I love listening to and watching musicals as well as traveling.
